Lucinda,
Thank you for taking the time to edit my work. You are an author and a businesswoman who thought enough of me to select me as a client. I really appreciate it.
Classes:
From Manuscript to Publication
10/31/09
Everything was on point, and all the information was needed.
The marketing section, and the panel discussions at the end of each class were most helpful.
The small class size and actually going to the needed websites was most helpful.
Keep up the good work!

Symposium:
The Writers Symposium was great!!! I have tried on several occasions to start writing a book but never succeeded. The speakers and vendors at the symposium helped me understand that writing my books is not just a dream but a vision from God to get something vitally important into the world. Nawassa Hooks encouraged me by suggesting that I record the anger management training that I do and type the manuscript from it. Lucinda explained in her presentation that we must encourage ourselves to write even when we do not feel like it. She said that she writes when things are fresh on her mind or she will procrastinate. One speaker was a minister and she talked about writing being a purposeful endeavor. She explained that when purpose and passion come together that the anointing will always produce success. My niece and I were so impressed with the writers passion for the projects they are working on and the desire they have to teach others to write and be self-publishers. I felt so enthusiastic to be surrounded by people who had favor from God and man and were pursuing their dreams and goals. Lucinda has truly been a blessing to me helping me with my publications and other business strategies. I recommend next year's symposium to everyone thinking about writing a book or consider taking the writing courses that she offers. Your committee is doing a great job!!! God bless.
Singing:

Lucinda,
Thank you for your willingness to sing the national anthem at the awards ceremony last week. Your singing of the anthem was spectacular, and I have had lots of positive feedback on it. You truly have a wonderful gift. Thank you for sharing it with others!
